Who We Are

Aging Services has been operating in Cleveland County, Oklahoma for 47 years. You can trust that the Board of Directors and Staff give the utmost to our programs and services. We are a private, non-profit organization offering services to senior adults regardless of race, color, sex, age, ancestry, national origin, religion, or disability.

Our Mission

The mission of Aging Services, Inc. (ASI) is to enhance the lives and dignity of Cleveland County senior adults by providing programs, services and referrals that assist and promote healthy independent living.

Program and Service Support

A portion of the project costs of Aging Services, Inc. is met by state and federal Older Americans Act funds granted to Areawide Aging Agency, Inc. of Central Oklahoma and OKDHS Aging Services Division. Additional support for our programs and services is provided by private donors as well as the United Way of Norman, Kiwanis Club of Norman, the City of Norman and the City of Moore.

Age in Place!

Aging Services, Inc. strives to enhance the lives and dignity of older persons through community-based services and assist senior adults residing in Cleveland County so they can keep maximum independence as long as possible.
At Aging Services, Inc. our goal is to help you stay home and stay healthy. We do this by providing programs, services and referrals that assist you in meeting your needs. Our programs are designed to promote healthy independent living. For most services, the only eligibility requirement is that you must be at least 60 year of age. Aging Services, Inc. programs and services are provided without a charge but there is a suggested donation for most services.

ASI Congregate Meal Menu

Here is this month’s menu for the ASI congregate meal sites in Norman, Noble, Moore and Oklahoma City. Bring a friend or come and meet some new ones.

Lunch service starts at 11:30 am and ends at Noon. Please call ahead the day before to make a lunch reservation. 

For the Norman meal site, reservations must be made in person on Fridays, from 11:00-11:30.

Our Purpose

Aging Services, Inc. is organized exclusively for the charitable and educational purposes of meeting the social service needs of senior residents of Cleveland County through charitable and educational means, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code, in order to effectuate the goals of the Corporation.

Our Goals

The goals of Aging Services, Inc. are as follows:

  • To assist senior and disabled residents of Cleveland County in obtaining goods and services available to the general population through transportation services
  • To expand the variety of in-home, community based services available to senior Cleveland County residents
  • To maximize independent living of senior Cleveland County residents through the provision of homemaker/chore services
  • To provide outreach services to those who may be frail, minority, of low income, socially and physically isolated and/or disabled and are in need of services in Cleveland County
  • To improve outreach services to those senior adults by providing multiple methods of dissemination of information and assistance through appropriate referral
  • To improve the quality of life for economically and/or socially deprived senior and disabled adults in Cleveland County by providing nutrition and support services
  • To improve and maintain independent functioning of at-risk senior and disabled adults by case managing the coordination and utilization of community resources, health care professionals and family efforts
